Typically, electronic submissions of IELTS scores take about five business days to reach the designated universities.

To send IELTS scores to universities, you can use your IDP IELTS account. Log in, choose the universities, fill information, and submit. You can send scores electronically or ask for physical copy. Do what the university needs to make sure they get your scores.

The Reading module includes 3 sections having 40 questions. It includes general interest topics. The texts can be from books, magazines, online resources, or newspapers. 

It is not rocket science. It checks simple English communication. If you practice the format properly for 1 month, you can pass. The difficult part is only the time pressure, not the questions.

Missouri State University expects a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 from undergraduates and 6 from postgraduates to fulfill English language proficiency.
