Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science & Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualifications equivalent thereto with minimum 2 years teaching experience.

I think, instead of BA in tourism, you should go for MBA which has more scope, and as compared to BA and also high salary packages are offered in top B-Schools. if you wish to work in Mid Management Level, otherwise BA is also good, but you will have to study for more 3 years .

The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) form a recognized board/university with at least 50% marks.

Your basic graduation is required as per the eligibility and furthermore it is up to the college you wish to pursue.

Eligibility for the course is as below:
Candidate must have Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks and 45% for General and for the SC/ST/OBC/PH category respectively.
Or,
Bachelor's Degree with Diploma (one year) in Library Science
Or,
Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of working experience in Library and Information Center.

If you have Diploma in engineering, then definitely you can get lateral entry admission for B-Tech.
