IIIT Trichy accepts admission on the basis of JEE Main. Therefore candidates must watch out for JEE Main ranks in order to qualify the exam. Find below the cutoff rank for JEE Main for the consecutive years:

Candidates are required to apply through the JEE Main and JoSAA for admission to the BTech programme. Candidate who successfully get sadmission through JoSAA must submit the below mentioned documnets in the IIIT Trichy's google form:
- Downloaded copy of Provisional Allotment letter
- Proof of Institute balance fee paid
- Proof of hostel fee paid to the Institut
- Aadhaar card/ Passport/ Any government ID proof
- Downloaded Score Card with rank of JEE (Main)-2023 issued by NTA
- Transfer Certificate / leaving certificate from school last studied
- Mark sheet of qualifying examination (12th Mark Sheet)

Yes, JoSAA has released dates for BTech counselling for admission to IIIT Trichy. The JoSAA 2024 registration process had started on June 10, 2024. Candidates have to go through six rounds of JoSAA counselling. Yes, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIIT Trichy BTech programme are out now. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions are announced in the notification. First of all candidates willing to apply for IIIT Trichy must clear the eligibility criteria as per the the admission guidelines of the institution i.e. Twelve years of School education with minimum 75% for BTech and Bachelor's Degree with 60% aggregate for the MTech/MSc programme. Additionally, candidates must qualify the entrance exam as per the courses requirement. The eligible candidates are now qualified for applying, they can fill the online application form of the institution and follow all the admission process.

To apply for the BTech programme at IIIT Trichy, candidates must use JEE Main as the application platform. The application process for JEE Main 2025 comprises three stages, which include registration, form filling & document uploading, and payment of the application fee. Also Candidates must go through the JoSAA counselling process by registering from the official website.

For admission at IIIT Trichy MSc programme candidates must have bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate. Also candidates must have a valid score in the entrance exam score and go through the CCMN counselling. Additionally, candidates have to complete the entire admission process as per the Institution's admission guidelines. The admission procedure includes: Application processs, Selection process, fee payment, etc.
