IIIT Tiruchirappalli students are given the sports training in the morning before the lectures. 

As per the Shiksha verified review,"All the major equipment is available in the labs; Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus; and the hostels are well maintained and clean. Mess food is also good; we have a community to handle the mess." Students are very well satisfied with the campus facilities. The outstation students also like the canteen food. The learning environment in the college is quite good.
