IIITH PGEE Syllabus

The IIIT PGEE syllabus is released by the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad. Before beginning their preparation, applicants should familiarise themselves with the syllabus. All of the important chapters and the subjects they cover for the test are included in the syllabus. They should plan their preparation with the syllabus's level in mind.

Objective and subjective type questions will be asked in part 2 of IIITH PGEE 2025. The part 2 questions are subject related. The part 2 questions are based on the subject the candidates have specified in their degree course. The candidtes can fill the part 2 subject while filling the application form.  

IIITH PGEE 2025 syllabus for Computer Science and Engineering is listed below

Discrete Mathematics, Fundamental Programming Concepts, Control Flow, Functions, Recursion, Basic Data Structures, Basic algorithms, Boolean Algebra, Digital Building Blocks, Karnaugh's Maps, Computer Organisation, Number Systems. Capability to write programs in C or C+ is expected, Relational Databases (Functional dependencies, SQL), Computer Networks, Operating Systems.

IIITH PGEE Part 1 question paper will include only objective type questions. The IIITH PGEE exam will include two part. Part 1 is general questions and part 2 is subject oriented questions. The topics included in part 1 are Basic Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Computer Knowledge and Mathematics. The IIITH PGEE part 2 questions are both subjective and objective. 

IIIITH PGEE 2024 Mathematics syllabus includes topics given below

• Finite Dimensional Linear Vector Space
• Group, Ring and Field
• Real Analysis
• Probability Theory
• Ordinary Differential Equation
• Optimization

The topics given under General Aptitude in IIIT PGEE syllabus are basic aptitude, logical reasoning and basic questions on computers and mathematics. Candidates must prepare basic questions about these subjects in order to score a good mark in this section. The candidtes must keep pratising the topics included in General Aptitute to score well in the IIIITH PGEE exam. 

The subjects that are incorporated in IIITH PGEE 2025 syllabus are General Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Computer Knowledge and Mathematics. There will also be a subject paper. Subject paper like Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Civil Engineering.  The question paper will include 2 parts.

Paper II - Subject Paper (according to the course selected by the candidates)
