The seat allotment procedure at IIT Delhi for BTech programmes is carried out through JoSAA counselling. Candidates who meet the JEE advanced cutoff become eligible for participation in the counselling. For the same, aspirants need to visit the official website of the counselling body to register. During counselling, the documents are verified and seats are allotted as per the cutoff and category of the candidate. Further, students can report at the institute and pay the admission fee for seat confirmation.

There are 10 departmental electives in the IIT Delhi BTech course curriculum. The students shall be allowed to choose out of the list sanctioned by the institute. Mentioned below are the electives:

Yes, one can apply for a PhD in Management at IIT Delhi if he/she has completed M.Com. The general eligibility conditions are that the candidate must have secured at least 65% marks in the concerned Master’s degree for general category candidates.

The eligibility requirements for IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) did not involve a minimum percentage or marks in Class 12 for the majority of participating institutes. The eligibility criteria for IIT JAM are largely concerned with the bachelor's degree and the minimum marks or CGPA necessary to secure in that degree.

Candidates for the IIT JAM must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55 per cent aggregate or 5.5 CGPA/CPI.
