Eligibility Criteria For Admission in 2024 IITs

A performance score of both board exams and the Joint Entrance Examination-Attempt (JEE) Advanced is indeed the two-time criteria for final judgment entry regarding eligibility for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in the coming academic year [2024].

Board Exam Score: Candidates who want admission into IITs should be within 75% marks in Class 12th board examination (or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards).

A total score of 74.2% means the minimum percentage requirement is not met.

JEE Advanced Qualification: The eligibility criterion states that only qualifying for the JEE Advanced would not suffice and the candidate needs to fulfill board exam score eligibility. You will have to meet the academic requirements prescribed by the IITs.

The basic requirement that candidates have to fulfill for admission into PhD Biological Sciences in IIT Delhi are as follows:- The candidates must hold a Master's degree in Biological Sciences or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 or 60% mark. If you are among these, then you should possess a valid GATE / CSIR – UGC NET / JRF score. It entails an examination in writing followed by an interview. The 'Application Fee is two hundred INR for general / OBC candidates and fifty INR for SC / ST / PwD candidates. Application is normally made in April and July and the session is in July and January. A number between twenty-five and twenty students are admitted each year to the program.

The students can directly apply for the Online Certificate Program in Data Science and Machine Learning offered by IIT Delhi without having to write any entrance test. Applicants are accepted throughout the year and awarded a seat according to organizational priority, education level and work experience. This means the program takes 12 weeks and the average time one takes to complete the activities for the week is 6- 8 hours. Program fee is precursor of rupees 30,000 and approximately five hundred candidates are chosen for this programme each year. No prior professional background in aerospace is required; any bachelor's degree holder with minimum programming, math knowledge is eligible to apply.

The design task/interview for admission to the M. Des. in Department of Design, IIT Delhi will be held in May 2025 (tentative).

As part of the design task/interview, the candidate is required to upload your digital portfolio.

The portfolio must include five best projects (maximum size 10 MB) of the candidate.

The filename of the pdf must be your IIT Delhi application number. The candidate may carry their physical portfolio on the day of the interview as well, but it is not mandatory.
