To apply for B.Sc. At IMU Navi Mumbai, you must fill the IMU-CET entrance examination at the reliable IMU internet site.
Admission is primarily based on the rank in IMU-CET.
After the examination, you have got to take part in online counselling.
You cannot get direct admission; applying via IMU-CET is important.

The eligibility criteria and admission process for the BSc course at both institutes—IMU Navi Mumbai and IMU Chennai campus—are almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 with an aggregate of 60%. Additionally, for the selection process, the campuses accept relevant IMU CET exam scores. For the Gen Ews ranks, cutoffs are not available in public domain, but cutoffs are available for IMUCET for General category . Here are the details:
1)For IMU Kolkata, The Round 2 closing rank for 2024 was 897 for general category.
2) For IMU Mumbai, The Round 2 closing rank for 2024 was 898 for general category.
It is almost same for both colleges. For General EWS with 5131 rank, it may not be possible but you should once try it.

IMU Mumbai accepts Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) scores for admission to BTech in Marine Engineering. IMUCET Round 2 cutoff is out and as per the data, the closing rank for BTech in Marine Engineering was 898 for the students belonging to the General AI category. The Round 1 cutoff for the same course was 475. So, considering both the rounds, stundent with a rannk of 3000 will not be eliginle to get admission at IMU Mumbai for BTech in Marine Engineering.

According to the latest information available regarding the IMU CET application deadline for B.Sc. programs at IMU Navi Mumbai, competitiveness seems to be increasing. Based on the closing ranks of the 2023 B.Sc. in Nautical Science and the 2022 Diploma in Nautical Science, respectively, in the previous cycle, there appears to be a decent level of demand for these courses. Both the institutes cannot be compared on the basis of B.Sc because B.Sc is not available to pursue at Terna Engineering College. If we compare both the institutes on an overall basis, Terna Engineering college was ranked #54 out of 170 in India #8th in Mumbai by times of India. Both the institutes are good in thier respective fields. The rankings and placement packages of both institutes are almost same. As B.Sc is not available to pursue at Terna Engineering College, thus comparison cannot be done.

Bsc at IMU navi university cost as per the following:-
- Bsc in Nautical Science:- 6.6 L.
- Bsc in Nautical Science ( Lateral entry) :- 4.4L.
The fee structure is not too much expensive as the returns on the fees invested are good. Scholarships are also provided to the students so that they get some relief from the fees structure.
