The placement takes place and many Famous companies including Maersk, Fleet Management Limited, NYK, MOL, BSM, Dockendale Ship Management, etc. Visit the campus for placements. Placements at IMU Navi Mumbai College are good.
The average package for the students who completed M.Sc will be around 6-12 LPA based on skills one can achieve.
The infrastructure wise it's really worth it including a scholastic block, 2 hostels, a basketball court and lawn tennis court, olympic size swimming pool. The scholastic block includes classrooms, and simulations.

Formerly known as the Training Ship Chanakya, Indian Maritime University (IMU), Navi Mumbai got its current name in 2017. However, the training academy had received IMU's status earlier in 2008. It is the first pre-sea training institution in India. The University is UGC-approved and is governed by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. The training programmes at IMU Navi Mumbai are designed to inculcate officer-like qualities and a high sense of discipline amongst the cadets/students.
