It has a good on-campus placement record, with almost 90% of students in the 2017-2020 batch being placed in international shipping companies. The average salary offered at IMU is 7 lac per annum. It also has some facilities like DGS approved medical practitioners, neighborhood hospital, tempo traveler and ATM.
However, whether it is the best in Mumbai or not depends on your personal preferences and criteria.

Both the institutes cannot be compared on the basis of B.Sc because B.Sc is not available to pursue at Terna Engineering College. If we compare both the institutes on an overall basis, Terna Engineering college was ranked #54 out of 170 in India #8th in Mumbai by times of India. Both the institutes are good in thier respective fields. The rankings and placement packages of both institutes are almost same. As B.Sc is not available to pursue at Terna Engineering College, thus comparison cannot be done.

Bsc at IMU navi university cost as per the following:-
- Bsc in Nautical Science:- 6.6 L.
- Bsc in Nautical Science ( Lateral entry) :- 4.4L.
The fee structure is not too much expensive as the returns on the fees invested are good. Scholarships are also provided to the students so that they get some relief from the fees structure.
