I think it can definitely be worth pursuing B.Tech CSE with an AI & ML specialization from a private university in Haryana, but only if the specialisation is backed by genuine learning opportunities and not just a different name on the degree.

AI and Machine Learning are becoming part of almost every industry from healthcare and finance to manufacturing, cybersecurity, and e-commerce. That means students need much more than theoretical knowledge.

Among the private universities in Haryana, institutions like The NorthCap University, BML Munjal University, and Geeta University have been investing in industry-oriented CSE programs. I f

Thousands of students make this one mistake every year, and it costs them a great college seat. The biggest mistake is not filling the college preference list carefully during WBMCC counselling. Seat allotment is made only among colleges that you have listed in your preference. If you do not include a good college in your list, you simply cannot get it, no matter how good your NEET rank is. Students should research every college carefully, add as many good options as possible, and always prioritise government colleges at the top of their list for maximum value and minimum fees.

AIIMS Kalyani is one of the newer AIIMS institutes in India and is rapidly developing its academic reputation. It provides subsidized fees like other AIIMS institutions, highly qualified faculty and world-class infrastructure. While AIIMS Delhi is still the gold standard, AIIMS Kalyani is a great alternative for students who want the glitz and glamour of an AIIMS education but don't want to go through the intense competition of securing a Delhi seat. It is rapidly turning into a popular choice for NEET high rangers in eastern India.

This is actually a good question to ask before choosing a college, because a lot of private universities advertise "tech culture" but it doesn't really show up once you're on campus. In Haryana, a few names genuinely have something going on.

BML Munjal University in Gurgaon is probably the most established for this being close to the Hero Group's ecosystem and Gurgaon's startup scene gives students a lot of exposure, and their tech clubs and hackathon culture are fairly active. Amity and SRM also run their own coding clubs and periodic hackathons, though the experience can vary a lot depending on which specific campus and branch you're

The fee for booking a PTE slot in India is INR 18,900 in 2026 for the "PTE Academic" variant of the exam.

It must be noted that - while there are plenty of websites quoting that there is a late fee for those who happen to book the exam at the last minute, the truth is - there is no late fee.

No, you don't necessarily have to give an entrance exam. There are colleges that also accept class 12th scores (for UG courses) and UG degree scores (for PG courses).
Students need to check the courses available by the college. They should also make sure the eligibility criteria is met. Understanding and following the admission process before enrolling is necessary.

Kristu Jayanti College collects an additional board eligibility fee from non-Karnataka BSc applicants. This fee varies between INR 10,000 and INR 20,000 depending on your home state. For international students, this eligibility charge goes up to INR 1,00,000. It covers university board registration formalities.
