Not exactly, though it's the most common route by far. Besides NATA, JEE Main Paper 2 conducted by NTA is another accepted option for many architecture programs. Some states also run their own separate entrance exams for local colleges. So depending on your target college, you might need to prepare for more than one exam.

I was in a similar situation after completing my 12th. I was from an arts background and wanted to get into designing, but I was honestly confused about which college to choose in Delhi.

I ended up exploring different options and eventually chose AAFT Online for a design-focused course. What I liked was that I could learn from home while still getting exposure to practical concepts and industry-oriented learning.
