First you need to appear in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in CS paper. After that apply and fill IIT-Delhi m.Tech application form. The admission authority of institute released the application form of IIT Delhi M.Tech in March of every year and was available until March 30.
IIT Delhi conducts own written test in order to be finalized the candidates. Candidates will be asked questions in written test on the basis of course selected by candidate. After the successful completion of written test, an interview will be conducted by the admission authorities to offer admission. Based on the performance in written test and interview, candidates will be considered for allotment of seats. The IIT Delhi M.Tech eligibility criteria is given below.
1. Candidates should have qualified their qualifying degree (B.Tech/B.E.)
2. Candidates must have secured a valid score in GATE entrance examination.
3. Candidates who have graduated from IIT must have secured a minimum CGPA of 8.0 in their qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates minimum CGPA required is 6.75 to 6.25.
Selection criteria : Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE score. Additional written test and /or interview may also be conducted by admission authority of IIT Delhi. IIT Graduates with CGPA of 8.0 or above will be admitted on the basis of interview. For offering admission, a weightage of 70% will be given to GATE/CGPA while weightage of 30% will be given to written test/interview. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria after which only they will be offered admission in desired programmes.
