I would personally not recommend pursuing Bachelor of Visual Arts in Applied Arts and Graphic Design from distance learning in India if you do not get any classes to do practicals. Graphic designing is all about practicals and industry awareness. You may surely pursue this course via distance mode if you are already practicing the same on the job. I would suggest you do "On the job" training if possible, and pursue the course simultaneously. Once you complete the course, you may join as the below-mentioned options:
- Advertising art director. - Animator. - Creative director. - Graphic designer. - Illustrator. - Printmaker. - Production designer, theatre/television/film.

There are immense opportunities for an English and literature graduate in government as well as private sector. A graduate in English and Literature can pursue MA in English and Literature and appear for UGC NET exam and apply for Assistant professor in various universities across India. One can also appear for various government exams like SSC, Bank PO, State PSC and Civil Services.
