IEM takes admission through WBJEE and JEE Mains and not through any other joint entrance examination. Your rank should be between 700 to 800 (GMR) to get into IEM. IEM offers 12 seats for mechanical students through JELET. Usually, if seats get vacated at the end of the first year and there will be a chance of admission through JELET. In Techno India Salt Lake City for lateral entries eligibility criteria is that a candidate should have minimum 60% aggregate in Diploma in engineering.
Hope this helps.

You must qualify any one entrance test such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NEST accepted by various colleges/universities and you should also have a minimum of 50% to 60% in UG (any stream) for admission in the same. Admission in MBA is done on the basis of the entrance exam followed by an interview and GD.
The best colleges are:
Department of Management Studies, IIT-Delhi
Xavier's Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur (accepts XAT)
Lovely Professional University, Punjab (accepts/CAT/MAT/XAT/LPUNEST)
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi (own test)
Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon
Bharathidasan Institute of Managemen
...more

For Graphics designing, government colleges are the best as, placement is a surety. But, other institutes also offer the same with good placements, but the fees is exceptionally high. The government ones are NID Ahmedabad and NIFT Delhi, IIT Bombay. Other NIFTs are also good but for graphics, NIFT Delhi is best among all. In the private ones, Pearl Academy Jaipur and Delhi are really good. Other than these, Shrishti School of Art and Design, Trivandrum, Indian School Of Design And Innovation, Mumbai
GD Goenka School Of Fashion and Design, Mumbai etc. are some good options.

Hi Kangana,
Please mention which course you are specifically talking about. Ambedkar University offers Masters in many courses, which has different eligibility criteria.

In the job market, regular MBA is always valued more than part time or distance learning. Though the other two also have their usage. Many a times, students are forced to discontinue studies, in such cases part time or distance learning is the only option. You can opt the same through distance colleges, you just need to apply for the same through online or direct mode. You can then share your graduation papers for admission.
