If you want a UG degree in Animation then you must pass inter final (+2). In the last 20 years, several thousands of 10th passed students have studied animation course but they are all Diploma or certificate courses. Whether it is Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai or Hyderabad, no institute which offers a Diploma course is going to tell you that you are not eligible. Everyone is going to offer you admission if you are interested.

In Uttarakhand, the exam name for lateral entry is UKSEE in Delhi, Indraprastha University conducts the exam for lateral entry. In Uttar Pradesh also, LEET exam is conducted every year. Moreover, some universities also conduct their own entrance exam for lateral entry. You can also apply for VIT Entrance Exam and the last date of form submission is in the month of June. It is the counselling process for the seat allotment by respective states against the reverted seats from All India 15% quota. Candidates who have qualified the exam can participate in the counselling irrespective of their domicile. Candidates have to fill up fresh forms to apply for it. This gives a better chance to claim a government seat irrespective of your lower marks than actual state cut-off. This round is mainly for deemed universities. A student can join Corporate Designer, Hospitality Designer, Visual Merchandiser, Interior Designer, Exhibition Designer, Furniture Designer, Architects, Event Organizer, Product Designer after completing B. Des in Interior Design, etc. And after completing B. You have set your heart on a very noble subject. Unfortunately, for pursuing Ph.D. one needs a PG in the related subject. Meaning, you need to do B.A. Followed by M.A. In psychology to become eligible for Ph.D. However, based on graduation, you can think of pursuing postgraduate Diploma or certificate in child psychology. Both the countries have friendly student policies and are open to immigration of foreign nationals. The advantage with Canada is that you will have proximity to the USA and can get better career options in a larger economy/region. Financially and weather wise Australia could be more comfortable for Indians.
