Hi,When you have been called for the spot counselling, then you must go. Chances are meant to be taken and you never know you may end up getting a seat there. Also, a good amount of people even from waiting lists get admissions at later stage. So, you must go.

As you are AIR 450, it would have been pretty obvious that you would easily score GNLU, but now that you have in a way locked TNNLS the only option left for you is to wait for the vacancies. You will have to keep checking for the website of the NLU you aim to take admission in or maybe contact the administration directly. But, I highly doubt that there will be much scope when you apply for the vacancies as, you must not be the only one who has done such blunder and the people with better AIR will be given preference over you. Yes, you can get admission in 2nd year. All you have to do is submit the TC and letter from your previous university, and then you can directly join the same course in 2nd year in university of Madras.
