To get into IITs, one should clear Mains and then have to qualify for Advanced paper. Then, based on the score secured in Advanced, he/she can know which IIT they get. In this case, your friend cannot get into IIT because you're haven't mentioned the JEE score. It's quite advisable to search for some other colleges. All the best.

Dear student,
Your friend is not eligible as minimum percentage required in 12 is 75 for either general category or OBC category. This criteria has been implemented from a few years ago earlier it was 60% only. You can also check on your own there are plenty of sites mentioned the eligibility criteria.
Hope your query is resolved.

Placements: About 45% of the students got placed at different companies like Maersk, Shell, Hapag Lloyd, etc. There are also a lot of companies which are coming forward and giving students a lot of opportunities. Sorry to be harsh but the answer is no. For getting admission to VIT and that too in CS you will need a very good score in between 160 to 170 in CET for open category. But this is related to last years cutoff and if your luck is with you then you might get admission but the chances of this happening is 23 %. However you can check Last years cutoff list for various college in Maharashtra which is available on http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/ website you can check it and try to fill the option for accordingly. This list is very helpful because most of the time cutoff remains at the similar level. Hope this helps.
