The B.Sc in Jewelry Design and Management deals with the subjects related to jewelry design from conceptualization, designing, drafting, and material Science, making and finishing aspects of jewelry. The course helps to keep abreast of international trends in jewelry design. The programme teaches about all the facets of jewelry trade from mastering, hand-rendering and casting to analyzing and appraising gemstones and acquiring computer aided design skills. Jewelry designing has become a recognised course and there are many colleges these days that are offering a B.Sc programme in the same:

Gemological Institute of India: This Institute has been recognised centre for the London based Fellowship (FGA) examinations of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain in India since its inception. The institute provides jewellery designing course at all levels from certificate course to B.sc programme.
3. Indian Institute of Jewellery: This institute has been nurturing the future of Gems & Jewelry Industries since 9 years. IIJM is the only institute in Gujarat, which is recognised by the Central government. of India.
4. Pearl Academy of Fashion: The Pearl Academy is a premium design institute and needs no introduction. It is one of the oldest design institutes in India providing design courses in every sphere.
5. ARCH Academy of Design: The Arch Academy of Design pioneered the first Online Entrance Examination for Design in India in 2011.
6. Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology: Situated in Bangalore, It is alos one of the oldest design college in the country and is one of the top art and design colleges in India.

Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University is the first private university in India for women. It was established in the year 2008, at Jaipur in Rajasthan.
