Hi, The Mass Communication & Videography (MCV) department was founded in 1996. Since 2006 (autonomy), the MCV dept. has steadily worked towards formulating a holistic syllabus for the taught course, keeping the pressing needs of 'audio- visual' literacy in the changing times in mind.
The Department of Mass Communication and Videography provides in-depth knowledge of cinema and media to the students. The department boasts of faculty who are a combination of academic as well as professional experts. Almost all the regular professors are doing their Ph.D and others have won national awards in various fields like cinematography, sound designing and documentary filmmaking.
Those from the last batch who are not pursuing any PG courses and those who have completed there PG courses, most of them are working in the television, advertising & film industries (viz, NDTV, CNN-IBN, AajTak, Zee Network, Star Network, Sony Entertainment; Percept, JWT, O&M etc.) either as trainees/assistants or as full-time journalists, programme producers, production executives, technical experts, independent filmmakers, etc.

The placements of MJMC from BCACS are good. Almost all students get placed while the placement sessions. Companies such as Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd. (Madura Fashion), Aditya Birla Retail Ltd, Amazon India P Ltd, Dainik Jagran and many more, visit the campus to hire students. The students passed out from Balaji College of Arts, Commerce and Science are well-groomed young leaders that will definitely prove an asset to any organisation where they may pursue their careers because they had worked day and night exercising their mind and investing their time to draw strategies for marketing the institutes, the students and ensuring successful campus placements despite the slow-down in the placement market globally.
The college also helps students getting the required internships to help them flourish in their careers.

I am doubtful if you will have placement opportunities from anywhere after completing Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) because only exceptional cases get through media jobs after completing their BJMC course from a college in India. Personally, I am an alumnus of Technia Institute of Advanced Studies (IP University)- Batch 2010-13, and the only placement company that I remember coming in is Naukri.Com - which I am apologetic to mention is not a media company. But many students did take the opportunity anyway - since not everybody wants to go into media after course completion.
What I suggest is that one should start preparing for postgraduate colleges of Journalism as soon as they enter the third year of their graduation college. Because only a good post-graduate college can get you a good job - until (obviously) if you are exceptionally good at what you do and a media house hand picks you during your summer/winter internship.

CEPT University, formerly the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, is an educational institute located in Ahmedabad. The Faculty of Architecture was established as the School of Architecture in 1962. The university was approved by the UGC in 2007. The school of architecture of CEPT offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in architecture newly B.Arch and M.Arch. The M.Arch has some specializations like urban design, architectural design, history, theory and criticism and conservation. Ph.D in architecture is also offered.
The university has a good amount of infrastructure and also has collaborations with few international universities. It has well experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are aimed at providing good quality education.
