The candidate can check his marks and the cut off according to their category. The cut off for other category in which the candidate does not appear in CGEPT will not be displayed as the information does not pertain to the respective candidate. In fact, if the candidate is shortlisted for Stage II / III then neither the marks scored nor the category cut off is displayed in order to avoid any superiority complex / unnecessary comparison among the shortlisted candidates for Stage II / III.

Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection. PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. The run, squats and pushups are to be completed without any break. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk and will not claim any compensation from Indian Coast Guard for any injury occurring during PFT due to negligence by themselves or any Government Personnel.
