Hello Anubhav Bachelor's in mass communication, Bachelors in journalism, or a combo of both that is Bachelors in journalism and mass communication. Apart from this you can go for a Diploma or certificate course. This way you can apply for any media organisation (preferring your language). Person who has completed Graduation and PGDCA / BCA graduate are eligible for MCA-Lateral - ( II Year)

No there is no need of having a background of Bachelor degree in information. Technology. As per the eligibility criteria, The applicants must hold a Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA awarded by any University incorporated by an Act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
