This is the eligibility required to get admission:

No, Jalandhar do not comes under NIMCET. The NIMCET participating NIT institutes 2019 are - Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal.

Your marks depends on the cutoff, which can't tell you Right now. But you have to have very good marks. So score good then previous year's cutoff.
