Dear Rashi,I would suggest you against dropping for a year. Dropping for a year is no surety that next year you will qualify JEE. In case you are interested in B.Tech, it would be better if your try for some good private universities. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech degree with various specializations. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests, some offer admission on the basis of both and some offer admission basis of marks in class 12th.
