Hi,
Your question is not clear, because every university conducts their own entrance exam for MCA programme. Like IITs conducts AIMCET for their MCA programme, BHU and JNU conducts their own entrance test etc. Hence, your rank belongs to which entrance test and university? Please clarify.

Your salary package totally depends upon your level of skills and knowledge you have in the field in which you to work. Your college will not provide you that level of help which you are expecting. Your college might fix up a lot of big IT companies for placement, but it's your skill and marks that'll get you the job. If you can afford to get admission into that reputed college only then take admission into it, don't force your parents if it goes out of budget. The eligibility criteria is different for every university. Some universities want the candidate to score more than 70% in their +2 and must be from science/commerce stream with maths and computer science as mandatory subjects. Whereas, some universities requires atleast 45% in +2 and candidate can be from any stream including arts/humanities and also without maths and computer Science as mandatory subjects. Yes, students from any stream can get admission into BCA in Christ University. You just have to make sure that you have scored atleast 50% in your +2.
