If your aim is teaching, B.Sc and M.Sc would be surely enough for it. But if you want a decent placement and a job, you should definitely consider B.Tech. You can apply for various universities providing B.Tech degrees and then proceed.

AMIE doesn't offer B.Tech, first of all, and neither it is valid. It is not recognised by AICTE and is a complete waste. BCA from SMU is also a waste as SMU is not a very good distance course provider. I would suggest taking lateral entry into regular BCA or B.Tech. Instead of pursuing a distance course as they will not be able to get you a job. I am saying this because I have done courses from both SMU and AMIE (which I dropped) and they are not at all helpful.
