Being a technical person if you get some more certifications according to your domain that will be more beneficial rather than collecting Management Degree. In IT industry IT Manager must be a technically sound Person not sound with the Managerial skills.

To apply to business school in USA, you need to have atleast 3 years of work experience post your under graduation. Post that you need to write GMAT and TOEFL and secure good marks. With these scores you need to apply to different colleges in their MBA programs. At this point you will also need 2-3 recommendations from your superiors in company. No, you cannot do architecture with a Bachelor's degree in Information technology. Architecture and that too for a master's degree require a lot many basics and if you have done bachelor's in civil you can still do it but not with other field.
