IB ACIO Eligibility Criteria
1-The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
2-Applicants should have completed their graduation in any stream from a recognised university.
3-Applicants must have a basic knowledge of computers.
4-The age limit of the applicant should be between 18 and 27 years for the general category. Age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belong to the SC and ST categories and 3 years for OBC category students. The Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer IB ACIO is a graduation-level exam. The IB ACIO exam is conducted under the authority of the Maharashtra. IB ACIO is a highly-salaried post in addition to other allowances that are provided by the Government of India. Earlier, IB was under the control of the internal and external intelligence of the country. But later it was divided into two different organizations IB (Intelligence Bureau) and the R& A (Research & Analysis Wing). The IB is a national-level exam that is conducted once a year. It is a classified Grade II, Group C, non-gazetted, non-ministerial executive post. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) Hindi IAST: scan bureau) is India's domestic internal security and counter-intelligence agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs. It was founded in 1887 as the Central Special Branch and is the oldest such organisation in the world. The pay scale of the IB ACIO candidates will lie between INR 44,900 and INR 1,42,410. INR 4,200 (Pay Band 2) as a grade. Allowances: House rent allowance, dearness allowance, overtime allowance, transport allowance, special pay and deputation, child education allowance, composite hill compensatory allowance, reimbursement of medical charges, and leave travel concession. The age limit for various Intelligence Bureau positions is Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO)
1. The maximum age of 27 years is 27+5 years for SC/ST.
2. OBC (General) 27+3 Years + SC/ST 5 Years. Working hours at the Intelligence Bureau: 75 percent of employees reported the work timings at the Intelligence Bureau as flexible. Whereas 25 percent reported it as strict, with a majority of 9 am5 pm.

The need of IT engineers in this industry is also becoming vital due to change in the mode of operations that have now become digital. Higher Education: IT engineers can also pursue teaching professions and can choose to teach students at University level.
