However, MBA placements are fairly decent across Madras University's distance education for students, but not as strong as full-time MBA programs. The university also has provision for connecting distance students with companies through job fairs and other placement assistance. Most placement, however, for distance MBA students would be dependent on the individual's efforts, prior work experience, and networking. Even though distance MBA graduates often get jobs in marketing, finance, and HR, they are not as highly placed in high-paying jobs as regular MBA placements. Madras University (MU) has declared in a recent announcement that PG and UG students studying in its affiliated colleges would be given 3 chances to clear their arrears. Students whose degrees are incomplete could attempt the exam in November 2020, April 2021 and November 2021.

If you're residing in another state and need to apply for a Consolidated Mark Statement at the Institute of Distance Education (IDE), University of Madras, you can do so online. The requirement is filling the application at the IDE website and making payment of Rs. 1500 via an online payment gateway (debit/credit cards or net banking) or offline through a challan at Indian Bank.
There is no requirement to visit the office to submit the application form. The application can be all done online.
