IRMA is better than NMIMS Bangalore in every possible aspect if you like the IRMA curriculum which is available on its website.

Hello Taranveer,
Irma offers MBA+ education. The '+' part consists 3 internships (one of them: Village Field study), certain sociological subject and agribusiness related subjects. All these parts acquaint you well with rural realities of India.
For finance part, IRMA may not be a very good option because IRMA is well entrenched in Microfinance and agribusiness finance.

Most of the organizations that come for placements to IRMA are of marketing, agri business, developmental sectors and micro finance profiles. The experience you have may not be directly related to these profiles.

You need to score around 80 percentile in CAT and XAT exam to convert IRMA. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, it is around 45 to 60 percentile.

Greetings Mr.Suresh,
Congratulations to your son on his score in CAT.
Your son stands a good chance to secure for himself a seat in IRMA, but that is conditioned on his performance in the ISC test held by IRMA .This should be followed up with a commendable performance in his GA-PI.
Wish him all the best.

Greetings Ashish,
A simple suggestion would be, keep it simple.
IRMA's personal interview is almost no different from that of any other interview.
What you will need though, is much more clarity on 'Why IRMA?', this question generally plays quite an important role.
Brush up on your general knowledge, get ready to face questions about your background.
As for the PI, it is going to test your ability to analyze (situational) and also your ability to communicate your thoughts.
Hope this helps.

Hello Sanjay,
You have good academic scores but CAT score is somewhat lower. It's difficult to get into good institute with this score. I would advise you to reappear for CAT and give yourself a better chance.
