Every year, more than 95% students clear the JAC 10th exam. However, only a few of them managed to secure distinction marks in the exam. Candidates should secure 75% aggregate to get a Distinction in the JAC 10th exam.

The full marks of JAC 10th exam are 500. Students need a minimum of 33 percent marks in every subject to pass the Jharkhand Board class 10 examinatons. In other words, candidates need to obtain at least 165 marks.

Every year, more than 4 Lakhs students appear for the class 10 exam. Out of which, more than 95% students clear the exam. In 2023, 4,27,294 students appeared for the class 10 exam. Out of which,  4,07,559 students managed to clear the exam. In percentage, 95.28% of students passed the exam last year.

The following are the compulsory subjects in the JAC 10th exam 2026.

  • English
  • Hindi
  • Second Languag
  • Mathematics
  • Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
  • Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics)

Students can also choose optional papers such as Art, Music, Computer Application, NCC, etc.

The Jharkhand Academic Council starts with the evaluation process right after the examinations are conducted. The Board has already commenced the evaluation process for JAC 10th result 2024. It is expected to be completed soon.

A candidate should secure a minimum of 33 percent aggregate in order to pass the JAC 10th exam. The board also provide grace marks to the candidates who requires. Up to 5% marks given as grace if a student is failing in a subject. On the other hand, if a students is failing in two subjects then the board will give up to 3% marks in both subjects.

Every year, around four Lakhs students appear for the JAC 10 exam. In 2024, a total of 4,33,643 candidates registered for the exam and 4,27,294 students appeared for the exam. Out of which, 4,07,559 students managed to clear the exam. For 2026 exams, the board will share the official data along with releasing the result. We will also update the same on this page.

Jharkhand Board announced the JAC 10th time table 2026. As per the JAC Matric exam schedule, the JAC 10th Exams 2026 will be conducted from February 3 to 17, 2026 in pen and paper mode. Students can check the detailed Jharkhand Board Class 10 (Matric) time table 2026 on this page.

Last year, JAC class 10 exams were held from February 11 to March 3, 2025.

JAC 10th result 2026 are expected to be out in April 2026. Students must be aware of the marks required for different CGPA. Test takers willing to get a CGPA of 10 must aim towards securing an aggregate of 91 to 100 percent. Students must prepare well for the JAC 10th exam to obtain CGPA of 10 in the exam. Students are advised to prepare for the entire syllabus and also practice the JAC 10th model papers.
