Ranking is one of the prime factor while deciding a course and a college. In the year 2025, Jain University was ranked at #84 for the Engineering category by NIRF. NIRF is one of the most popular and credible ranking bodies in India.

As per the latest report, Jain University attracted various recruiters for its 2023 placement session who offered a variety of job roles to the students across sectors, such as BFSI, IT, Education, FMCG, Consulting, and E-Commerce, etc. The final placement report 2023 is yet to be released. Once it is released, the number of recruiters will be updated here. However, in 2022, more than 550 recruiters participated and placed students in new-age job roles. The list of recruiters included Amazon, TCS, Deloitte, IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, etc.

Admission to a four-year BTech course at Jain University is entirely entrance-based. Those who are willing to get admission to this course must qualify for the respective entrance exams. Candidates can either apply via a score of Jain Entrance Test (JET), which is an in-house entrance exam of Jain University conducted for its UG and PG courses. Apart from that, Jain University also accepts JEE Main scores for BTech admission. Yes, Jain University offers direct admission to the second year of BTech through its Lateral Entry programme via its Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The duration of this course is three years, in which students can skip the first year of the course and get direct admission to the second year. This course is offered in the same 24 specialisations as of a four-year BTech course. Admission to BTech Lateral Entry solely depends on the percentage obtained by candidates in the Diploma and the availability of seats for the course. Those who score minimum 45% aggregate in Diploma are selected for this course.

Jain University BTech eligibility criteria require applicants to have completed Class 12 from PUC/ISC/CBSE or any other equivalent board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and at least one optional subject out of Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science /Biology. They must have scored at least 45% (40% for SC/ST) in Class 12. Additionally, aspirants are required to qualify in at least one of the accepted entrance exams which include JET, Uni-GAUGE, JEE and COMEDK.

No, Maths is not compulsory to get admission to BCA at Jain University. However, it's a UG-level course in the stream of IT and Computer Applications, so candidates who have studied Class 12 with Maths as one of their main subjects may apply but it's not mandatory to only study Mathematics. Candidates must have passed Class 12 in the stream of Science. The subjects may vary such as Statistics/ Computer Science/ Information practice. Aspirants can study the mentioned exam in their Class 12 apart from Mathematics.
