Hello, From here http://bit.ly/2HxUej2 you can check the detailed eligibility criteria required to appear in the JAM Exam. JAM Exam is one of the toughest exams conducted in India. So, if you are planning to appear in the exam then, you must study well. IIT JAM 2019 Exam will be conducted in the month of February 2019. So, you have enough time left for the preparation. Hello,
There are separate books available for different topics in JAM Mathematics. So, buying these books separately for each topic is not a good idea.
I would suggest you to take help from study materials which cover the syllabus for all the topics in a single book. So, you don't have to carry 10-15 books with you.
For JAM exam preparation, you should solve previous years' question papers and take online mock tests. This will give you an idea about the pattern and difficulty level of the questions. Make notes of all the important stuff. This will help you in your last minute preparation.Best of Luck!

Solving these question papers is the best way to prepare for the exam. This will give you an idea about the pattern and difficulty level of the questions. You should also take online mock tests. This will help you analyze your level of preparation and also increase your speed and accuracy. IIT JAM 2019 exam will be in the month of February 2019. So, prepare yourself well for the exam.

Dear Prachi,
Dropping a year is only meaningful if you are confident enough to get the despaired result. Firstly, just go through IIT JAM. If you think that one year preparation is sufficient for you to get the desired branch and stream, you can drop otherwise you may look for any other college.
