Yes, male candidates are eligible to seek admission to the government quota seats allotted by the institutes accepting JCECE BSc nursing scores. Candidates must also check the institute's admission criteria before applying to the college.

To seek admission to the JCECE nursing post basic program, a candidate must have:

  • Passed class 12 Senior Secondary or Intermediate or an equivalent examination on a recognised board. Applicants who have passed class 11 in or before 1987, will be eligible for admission.
  • Possess a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and should be a Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the State Nursing Council.
