With a ninety-five percentile in JEE Advanced under the EWS category, you might expect an EWS rank between two thousand five hundred to three thousand five hundred, though exact ranks vary each year based on overall performance and cutoff trends. This rank may be competitive enough for core branches like Civil, Chemical, or Metallurgy in newer IITs and for some specializations in top NITs. Considering the IIT Delhi JEE Advanced Round 2 closing ranks for the General AI category students,  B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering experienced a significant increase of +101 ranks in its closing rank from 2023 to 2025. The second largest rise in the closing rank was +94 for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. The rise in the cutoff ranks indicates that the cutoff ranks for these branches have comparatively more relaxed cutoff ranks in 2025 as compared to those of 2023. IIT Delhi cutoff 2025 for BTech admission has been released for Round 1. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for different categories of students belonging to the AI quota.
