The JEE Advanced 2026 response sheet will be released in May 2026, a few days after the exam. The response sheet will have all the answers that the candidates mark on the exam day. Using the response sheet and answer keys, candidates can compare their answers and calculate their scores in the exam. The JEE Advanced answer key will have the correct answers to all the querstions asked on the exam day and is released a few days after the response sheet.

NO. Calculators are not allowed to be used in JEE Advanced exam. Candidates will not be provided nor they will be allowed to carry any gadget inside the JEE Advanced exam centre.

Yes. candidates are provided with rough sheets to do their rough work inside the JEE Advanced exam centre. Candidates have to return this sheet after the exam ends to the invigilator before leaving the exam centre.

With the JEE Advanced admit card, candidates have to carry any one of the following documents:
- Aadhaar Card
- School/College/Institute ID
- Driving License
- Voter ID
- Passport
- PAN Card
- Notarised Certificate with photograph
Make sure to carry these documents in original. Also, ensure that the above documents are not expired and are valid on the date of the exam.

The JEE Advanced 2026 paper 2 will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The paper 1 will end at 12 pm and after that candidates can take a break. For paper 2, candidates have to be seated at the exam hall by 2:30 pm. Both papers are compulsory to qualify the JEE Advanced exam.

The JEE Advanced 2026 exam time for paper 1 is expected to be 9 am to 12 noon, as per previous few years trends. The exact exam date and time will be made aavailable to the candidates via the admit card.

JEE Advanced exam is held for a total of 6 hours. Paper 1 is held for three hours and the paper 2 is also held for three hours.

On the JEE Advanced 2026 admit card, candidates will be able to check details like:
- Name of the candidate
- JEE Advanced 2026 roll number
- Photo signature
- Date of birth
- Address of the candidate
- Allotted exam centre name and address

Candidates are recommened to keep their JEE Advanced admit card safe even after the exam is over. For any future reference that may arise, candidates might need to provide their admit card. Hence, it is recommnended to keep the JEE Advanced admit card safe until the admisison is over.

In case candidate have any error in the JEE Advanced admit card they must contact their zonal IIT, as mentioned on the admit card. The error must be rectified before the exam.
