The syllabus of JEE Advanced 2026 has been released by IIT Roorkee. There is NO change in the JEE Advanced 2026 syllabus and its the same as last year. The JEE Advanced syllabus was recently changed in the year 2023.

No. The JEE Advanced syllabus and toughness do not depenf on the conducting IIT. The syllabus is set as per the standard decided by the authority like JAB - JEE Apex Body.

As of now, the JEE Advanced exam is held in two language only - Hindi and English. The exam is not held in other regional languages.

The changing pattern of the JEE Advanced exam can be due to various reasons:

  • One of the reason can be to check how the students perform under pressure and how weel they adapt.
  • To check how the students can deal with problems and unfamiliar formats.
  • To eliminate the candidates who rote learn.

JEE Advanced is on the toughest exam for selection to the most premiere colleges of the nation - IITs. Therefore to add to the difficulty level, the pattern is kept undiclosed until the exam day.

The JEE Advanced marking scheme changes every year. Uauallt there are questions carrying 1 marks, 2 marks, 3 marks and 4 marks. There are partial negative marking and complete negative marking format. The exact marking scheme is notified to the candidates on the exam day.

So far no student has ever scored full marks in JEE Advanced signifies exam's difficulty level. Highest marks one has achieved to date in JEE Advanced are 355 marks out of 360. Ved Lahoti scored these marks in 2024.
