- Start with the basics. Read and underatsnd the NCERT books thoroughly to get hold of the basics.
- Practice a lot of questions.
- Practice the previous year questions to know how to apply multiple concepts to one problem and get to the answers.
- Clear your doubts so that you have a strong understanding of the topics.
Apart from that, candidates must make their own handwritten notes to understand theories and concepts.

The changing pattern of the JEE Advanced exam can be due to various reasons:
- One of the reason can be to check how the students perform under pressure and how weel they adapt.
- To check how the students can deal with problems and unfamiliar formats.
- To eliminate the candidates who rote learn.
JEE Advanced is on the toughest exam for selection to the most premiere colleges of the nation - IITs. Therefore to add to the difficulty level, the pattern is kept undiclosed until the exam day.

The JEE Advanced marking scheme changes every year. Uauallt there are questions carrying 1 marks, 2 marks, 3 marks and 4 marks. There are partial negative marking and complete negative marking format. The exact marking scheme is notified to the candidates on the exam day.

The JEE Advanced 2025 syllabus can be downloaded from the official website - jeeadv.ac.in. The candidates can download the syllabus PDF as soon as it is released and refer to the tppics mentioned on it for preparation.

The fact that no candidate has every scored full marks in JEE Advanced, signifies the exam's difficulty level. However, the highest marks one has achieved till date in JEE Advanced is 355 marks out of 360. This was scored by Ved Lahoti in the year 2024.

YES. To be eligible for IIT admission and pass the JEE Advanced exam, candidates have to appear in both the papers. A candidate skipping any one of the two papers will be not eligible for ranking.

NO. The JEE Advanced final answer key cannot be challenged. The final answer key is released after the challenges against the provisional answer key is processed. The marks of the candidates for JEE Advanced result will be prepared based on the correct answers in the final answer keys.

The JEE Advanced 2026 answer key will be released a few days after the exam. The JEE Advanced answer key PDF will be uploaded for paper 1 and paper 2. Candidates will be able to challenge the provisional answer key from their logins and a final answer key will be issued with the result with changes, if any.

The JEE Advanced 2025 all India rank 1 holder was Rajit Gupta. He was from IIT Delhi zone. He scored 332 marks out of the total marks which was 360 in JEE Advanced 2025.
The female topper for JEE Advanced 2025 was Devdutta Majhi with AIR 16. She scored 312 marks out of 360.
