The provisional JEE Advanced answer keys are released on the official website - jeeadv.ac.in as PDFs, a few days after the exam.

The final JEE Advanced answer key will be out with the JEE Advanced result in June 2026 at jeeadv.ac.in.

The JEE Advanced answer key challenge window will open in May 2026 after the provisional keys are released. Candidates will get a one day period to challenge the keys.

Yes candidates can challenge the JEE Advanced provisional answer key. The challenge facility is provided for one day under the login of the candidates. For each question challenged candidate have to pay a fee. If the challenges are accepted and found valid a revised answer key is released with result. That will be the final answer key and cannot be challenged further.

Response sheet is the exact copy of the answers that the canbdidates marks on the exam day. The JEE Advanced response sheet of the candidates are released under the candidate login after the exam, so that the candidate get the record of the answers that they have marked on the exam day against all the questions asked on the exam day.

Using the JEE Advanced response sheet and answer key, candidates calculate their marks.

NO. Calculators are not allowed to be used in JEE Advanced exam. Candidates will not be provided nor they will be allowed to carry any gadget inside the JEE Advanced exam centre.

Yes. candidates are provided with rough sheets to do their rough work inside the JEE Advanced exam centre. Candidates have to return this sheet after the exam ends to the invigilator before leaving the exam centre.

With the JEE Advanced admit card, candidates have to carry any one of the following documents:

  1. Aadhaar Card
  2. School/College/Institute ID
  3. Driving License
  4. Voter ID
  5. Passport
  6. PAN Card
  7. Notarised Certificate with photograph

The JEE Advanced 2026 paper 2 will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The paper 1 will end at 12 pm and after that candidates can take a break. For paper 2, candidates have to be seated at the exam hall by 2:30 pm. Both papers are compulsory to qualify the JEE Advanced exam.
