If you belong to general category, I doubt that you will get a college. I would suggest you to reappear for the exam.

Not IIT and NIT for sure.
But don't loose hope, prepare yourself for other entrance exams such as WBJEE, COMEDK, UPSEE, BITSAT, CUSAT, VITEE and SRMEE.
All the best.

You may try for WBJEE, IPU CET, UPSEE, and many more government college exams or try in BIT with JEE Mains rank card.
All the best.

If you are an OBC candidate then you may get NITs or if you are general then you can try for some other colleges such as BIT, MIT, Thapar, BITS and many more.

It's your choice, my friend. If you have filled any other state government exam form then prepare for the same and try for it. If you have filled the form of some prestigious private college then go through it. Don't lose hopes, if you have talent then you will get a good college.
All the best!

Hello Gauri,
You can not get admission in any college of Maharashtra with JEE Mains score. You have to appear for and score good marks in MHTCET which is an entrance exam.
Best wishes!

Hello Gaurav,
With just 50 out of possible 360 marks, I don't think that you have any reasonable chance in any government college. Perhaps some private college accepting JEE Mains seems to be the only chance.

Hello Akshay,
With a score of just under 150, you are in that critical zone, where a lot depends on how others have performed. You may get admission in one of the NIT's but perhaps in a branch which you don't want.

For general candidate (according to last year) the cutoff marks in JEE Mains is 100, while for ST candidates it is 48 marks. The expected cutoff for this year may be the same. So, you may not qualify this year. There is no criteria of class 12th percentage in deciding all India ranks.
