if u have category sc/st then. taking drop is a bad idea. because u may get good colleges.
Bt if u have other category. or u have strong desire 2 do IIT. then go 4 it. otherwise not.

but in top level collage you can't find your favourite traid

I think it is NIT Patna. you have state quota as you belong to Bihar but your score is low if you are in unreserved category but you should apply for it. hopefully you will get the seat. All the best
