If you get under 10000 then may be you can get admission in branches like me,mpar, ice,bt. But i am not sure if you are even eligible to appear for JEE-main 2017 .kindly check.

Hey Gaurav,
There are chances that you may get NIT based on your score in JEE mains. But you should not rely only on a single option. You should also apply for some other best institutes either government or private. You can also expect scholarships from some private universities. If you are interested check out following colleges -

If you belong to any reserved category, then you are eligible. If you are from general category, then I fear you won't be able to.

See, ranking depends on both, your 12th % and JEE score. So, if you want to be in 3000 rank, your board marks must be around 95% and JEE score must be 220-230. Its all approx, bcz ranking depends on the performance of other students too.

There are lesser chances that you may get good government college as their cut off is high .so you can apply for some premier private institute which along with high standards of education provides good placements.here are some of these institutes where you may get admission based on your score and can avail high scholarship :
1.BITS
2.Lovely Professional University
3.VIT
These institutes are doing exceptionally well in their sector.they provide excellent infrastructure where one can carry out their research ,projects.
