Hello Saurabh,
Normally, the fee structure does not include hostel fees since many students make their own arrangements. Hence, you can assume that information to be pertaining to tuition fees.

Hello Siddharth,
Presently, only a few states have accepted JEE Mains ranking for their students. If you are from these states, you can get admission based on your JEE Mains, else you have to appear for an appropriate exam.

Hello Varun,
Mistakes do happen. Window of one week is normally given to edit mistakes. Look out for that window. Even if this field is not editable, don't worry. It's not a fatal mistake. Continue with your studies.

Hello Sai,
It's good to see that you have started thinking of getting 300+ marks. You have already won. Best books are by NCERT for CBSE 12th. Nothing will beat these.
Best wishes.

Hello Saurabh,
Requirement is to have at least 75% in your 12th. So, if you have less then you can't apply to any NIT or IIT or CGFI. But if your state accepts JEE Mains score then you must appear.

Hello Pradeep,
Nobody can predict this. These days, many colleges do not get any students and hence, they admit students based on the concept of a valid score. But, I would advise you to have faith in yourself and ask questions as to how you can get more than 300 in JEE Mains.

Hello Vivek,
Even though, you appear to have cleared JEE Mains, have you really? Why do you have an obsession of engineering? There are large number of different courses that you can opt for. I would advise you to take counsel from career counselor and then determine what you should do.

Hello Varsha,
Clearing JEE Mains is not a must in most of the states in India. JEE Mains enable your admission in NIT or IIT or CGFI. And of course, for some states who have declared this as their CET but many states conduct their own entrance exam and you can get admission via this.

Yes, every NIT has home state quota which means 50% of the total seats are allotted to home state members alone, whatever their ranks may be.
The rest half seats are open to all the remaining state students.
So, if you apply for an NIT of your state, you will fall under home state category and for the rest, you fall under other state category.
