At less competitive NITs you can probably get admitted to branches like biotechnology, metallurgical, or civil with a CRL of 312,466 and a SC category rank of 18,737 in JEE Mains. Because of their high demand core branches like CSE, ECE, and Mechanical have substantially lower cutoffs, making them challenging to get with your rank. Your prospects are enhanced by the SC category reservation however branch specific availability is contingent upon the NITs unique cutoffs and seat matrix. More accurate information can be obtained by looking at the most recent SC category cutoffs for different NITs.

Getting into the CSE branch at top NITs is difficult with a CRL of 30700 in JEE Mains because their CSE cutoffs are usually substantially lower often below 10,000. On the other hand, less popular or more recent NITs such as NIT Mizoram or Nagaland, may have higher CSE closing ranks, which will improve your prospects. In contrast, less competitive or more recent NITs, IIITs, or government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs) may provide you a chance. Admission is contingent upon branch preferences, seat availability, and annual cutoff patterns, all of which are subject to change annually. Take use of the JoSAA counselling procedure, think about state-level engineering colleges, and look into other respectable engineering schools with lower cutoffs to increase your p

Your odds of being admitted to NITs with an 84.3 percentile in JEE Mains rely on a number of variables, including your category (General, OBC, SC, or ST), the branch you're interested in, and the year's unique cutoffs. NITs typically have cutoffs that change annually and according to category. To accurately determine your prospects, it is advised that you review the counselling procedure this year as well as the cutoffs from the prior year. Depending on your percentile and category, you might be able to get opportunities at some NITs.
