For any reserved caste, the cut off is 150 marks and for others 200+ is required for best NIT.

It is completely a personal thing. If you are ready to sacrifice a year and work super hard and be able to increase your score then I think you should go for it. But, that being said, let me tell you, only take this risk, if you are sure that the next year when you sit, you will be able to increase your score at least 3-4 folds. Because, your score is quite on the lower side.
If you have given any other entrance exams and scored a good rank anywhere and you are getting a good college then my advice to you would be to take admission over there and work super hard while in college to make up for lost ground. Otherwise as I said, every yea
