Hi Suraj,
According to the latest notification by CBSE , student needs to have minimum 75% in class 12th or he/she needs to be in the top 20 percentile of there respective boards to appear for JEE Mains 2017 and from 2017 no 40% weightage will be given to 12th marks in calculating the final JEE score.
