Tarun, yes with these marks you can hope of admission in some of the NITs. Also, with this score in 12th and JEE score you can get a seat in some of the best private universities which offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria.

I will personally advise you that if you really want to give a second try and if you were unable to give 100% of your efforts then you should definitely go for a drop. I myself have dropped 2 years and now I am in final year. I faced no difficulties till now. So its completely on your will, take some time to think and then decide. Best of luck for future.

For improvement exam you need to contact your institution from where you appeared for 12th examination. Form and formalities are done by institutions on behalf of students. But this process is to be done earliest as these dates are declared in few days after results are declared.
For JEE Mains you need to have minimum marks criteria. So try to score as much as you can in improvement paper.
All the best.!!!

Varun, with this JEE score chances of you getting a good college are very less. But yes with your 12th marks you can try for admission in any of the private universities in and outside Delhi. They offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria. Good luck.
