You are having an average score in JEE Mains, but this doesn't assure you of a seat in NIT. You may get a seat based on your category rank. However you shouldn't rely only on that. You should also apply for some best private universities having their forms open. Private universities also provide best infrastructure and equally good education with government universities. both are same before 2012 aieee and after 2012 there name changes to jee main
