Admission to BTech at IIT Goa is JEE Advanced based. Candidates seeking admission to BTech cannot get admission to any IIT with only the scores of JEE Main. JEE Advanced followed by JEE Main is the complete requirement. After the selection exams are over, JoSAA Counselling is conducted for seat allotment of BTech courses. Candidates who are eligible to get a seat need to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission to the shortlisted course.

Yes, the authorities will prepare and release separate cutoffs for CG PET and JEE Main candidates. Since JEE Main scores are also expected for CG PET admissions, the authorities will create separate cutoffs after checking the determining factors. However, first preference will be given to CG PET qualified candidates and the cutoff will be prepared and released first. After the CG PET qualified candidates are allotted, JEE Main candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
