With the rank that you provided you might not get admission in NITs or IIITs through JoSSA counselling you can go for GFITs. You can go for CSAB counselling where there is good chance that you can get admission in some NITs like NIT Patna, NIT Meghalaya etc.

Usually, the 80-90 Percentile in JEE Main 2023 is close to the 1,50,000 to 3,00,000 rank in JEE Main. That means a candidate with an 80-90 percentile in JEE Mains has a chance to get admission to NITs and IIITs for B.Tech courses.

For the last academic year, i.e., 2022, the cut off for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Dyestuff Technology at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai was 103920. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. For the 2022 academic year, the cut off was 51899 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Food Engineering and Technology in Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai.
